Magstar TOTAL Retail - Vincor International Press Release

Magstar Inc., developer of the Magstar TOTAL Retail ® suite of retail enterprise management software, announces the completion of a major upgrade of the head office and POS applications at Vincor International. The new head office software release brings an expanded wealth of functionality to Vincor International’s management team. A complete CRM package, enhanced wine specific features, comprehensive reporting, and data record mining capabilities are but a few of the immediate benefits seen in the upgrade.

The Linux based Magstar TOTAL POS application, featuring a user-friendly GUI touch screen interface, was installed at 170+ Wine Rack, Jackson-Triggs, and Inniskillin wine boutiques and winery stores on a very aggressive and tightly managed rollout schedule. There was an immediate benefit seen in the stores: simplified training, enhanced security, plus a much higher rate of sales throughput on the new system (over 50% faster as compared to standard keyboard transaction entry).

Phase II of the rollout brought the Vincor USA group (R.H.Phillips-Hogue) onto the system and the Magstar TOTAL POS was installed in the tasting rooms at their two wineries. TOTAL Retail’s wine-specific features provide tremendous flexibility to the USA team, allowing them the future opportunity to take advantage of the integrated CRM and Order Entry subsystems for enhancing and growing the “Wine Club” segment of their business.
