1986: Magstar Total Retail becomes one of the first companies to offer Enterprise Resource Planning solutions developed by retailers for retailers.
1986-1996: Magstar develops its own interactive POS application, promotional price management solution, and highly granular and flexible customer relationship management (CRM) and customer loyalty programs.
1996-2006: Magstar releases even more robust, sophisticated and fully-automated store management and merchandising optimization solutions, as well as streamlined Total Retail and point solutions that implemented Total Warehouse, Total BI / Analytics with fully customizable dashboards and Total CRM and Total POS branded solutions. Development moved from UNIX to Linux, BI and ensured true multi-channel synchronization for Total Retail enterprise-wide.
2009: Magstar goes live with its wireless green Total Warehouse solution.
2010: Magstar announces its latest stand alone solution with Total Mobile POS and partnerships with industry leading wireless hardware handheld providers.
2010: Magstar is voted #1 on RIS Software LeaderBoard 2010 for Mid-Sized Retailers
2010: Magstar wins RSPA Innovation Solution Award
2011: Magstar launches Total Mobile POS at NRF’s 100 annual Big Show in New York
2011: Magstar remains on top of the RIS Software LeaderBoard 2011 for Mid-Sized Retailers
2012: Magstar achieves NCR’s Partner Award Circle for Sales Performance for 2011
2012: Magstar Inc. shares are acquired by Constellation Software Inc. under the Constellation Home Builders division
